How We Operate |
TCCA Education Committee Policies & ProceduresThe Education Committee is dedicated to providing high-quality educational opportunities that equip Texas court clerks with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to excel in their profession. Throughout the year, committee members collaborate to identify emerging topics, recruit expert speakers, review presentation proposals, and develop educational programs that address the evolving needs of municipal courts across Texas. Working closely with the Board of Directors and the Conference Planning Committee, the Education Committee helps develop conference sessions, regional training events, webinars, and other educational initiatives that promote professional growth and continuing education. The committee also plays a vital role in supporting TCCA's nationally recognized certification programs through its longstanding partnerships with Texas State University and the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center (TMCEC). Together, these partnerships provide comprehensive Court Clerk Certification and Advanced Court Clerk Certification programs that establish professional standards, strengthen competency, and promote excellence in municipal court administration across Texas. Through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to lifelong learning, the Education Committee helps ensure that TCCA remains the premier source of professional education for Texas court clerks, empowering members to better serve their courts, their communities, and the administration of justice. |
